The CS-5100 is the high-voltage, non-HC model in IWATSU's CS-5000 Series. It provides a maximum High Voltage mode capability of 5,000 V and is intended for semiconductor devices where high-voltage characterization is required without a dedicated High Current unit.

Its High Voltage mode covers operating conditions from 5,000 V at 25 mA down to 30 V at 7.5 A, while the CS-5100 product configuration is rated as a 5,000 V, 15 A curve tracer. The instrument also includes a dedicated LEAKAGE mode with 1 pA cursor resolution, enabling sensitive low-current measurements.

The CS-5000 platform supports multiple measurement waveforms, including Rectified SINE, DC ±, LEAKAGE ±, and AC, along with USB storage for screen and setup data and a LAN interface for remote operation. These capabilities support semiconductor characterization, R&D, production testing, and failure-analysis applications.
