The CS-3100 Curve Tracer is the 3 kV model in IWATSU's CS-3000 Series intended for characterization of power semiconductor devices. Unlike the CS-3200 and CS-3300, the CS-3100 does not include the dedicated High Current (HC) mode.
Its collector supply provides three principal voltage/current ranges: 3 kV at 75 mA with up to 150 mA pulse current, 300 V at 750 mA with up to 1.5 A pulse current, and 30 V at 7.5 A with up to 15 A pulse current. This enables engineers to analyze semiconductor V-I characteristics over both high-voltage and lower-voltage/higher-current operating conditions.
The system supports Rectified SINE, DC, LEAKAGE and AC measurement modes, with AC operation supporting up to 2.5 kV. It also provides USB-based data storage and a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX LAN interface for remote control and integration into laboratory test environments.
PMK America's CS-3100 configuration includes the CS-301 Test Fixture and CS-500 Blank Test Adapter, and specifies that CC-3100 and ID-3100 are required.
