The CS-5200 Curve Tracer is part of IWATSU’s CS-5000 Series and combines high-voltage semiconductor characterization with dedicated high-current measurement capability. Its High Voltage mode supports a maximum peak voltage of 5 kV, with operating capability ranging from approximately 25 mA at 5 kV to 7.5 A at 30 V.
For high-current devices, the CS-5200 provides a dedicated HC mode capable of generating up to 400 A peak current at 40 V, with a maximum peak power of 4 kW. The HC pulse width can be varied from 50 μs to 400 μs with 10 μs resolution, allowing engineers to control the duration of high-current testing.
The instrument also provides a dedicated LEAKAGE mode with 1 pA cursor resolution for sensitive low-current measurements. Supported measurement waveforms include Rectified SINE, DC ±, LEAKAGE ±, and AC. USB connectivity enables saving screen and setup data, while the LAN interface supports remote control.
The current PMK America CS-5200 configuration includes the CS-303 Test Fixture, CS-005 Wire Set, and CS-500 Blank Test Adapter. The listed configuration requires CC-5200 and ID-5200.
