The DPG10-2000B/E uses a controlled voltage-pulse testing method to analyze inductors under real operating conditions. When a voltage pulse is applied to the inductor, the current rise is captured with high-speed sampling, allowing precise calculation of inductance across the full current range. This reveals saturation behavior, flux linkage and magnetic co-energy.
The enhanced “E” variant supports higher pulse energy, making it capable of testing inductors with large core volumes and high energy storage. It is particularly suited for power-electronics applications such as industrial drives, grid-connected converters, heavy-duty power supplies and large magnetic components.
Its wide pulse-width range supports both fast magnetic materials like ferrites and slower materials like powdered iron and laminated steel. This versatility ensures accurate analysis of components used in high-frequency and low-frequency power systems.
