The SAS1000 Solar Array Simulation Software is an advanced simulation platform developed to assist in testing photovoltaic (PV) inverters under various environmental conditions. It allows users to simulate solar arrays and assess the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) efficiency of PV inverters.

The software supports a broad range of solar panel outputs with user-defined battery characteristics. It provides built-in mathematical formulas to simulate the I-V curve, accurately reproducing real-world solar cell output. Dynamic MPPT testing is facilitated, enabling users to evaluate inverter performance in both static and dynamic conditions.

By integrating with ITECH's IT6000C power supplies, SAS1000 can emulate various conditions such as solar panel shading (Shadow Mode), allowing for a detailed analysis of how cloud cover or temperature impacts performance. The software also integrates voltage, current, power monitoring with real-time graphing and data logging for comprehensive testing.
