easyMap Tools (EMT) is a mapping utility tailored to optimize the functionality of Anritsu's handheld spectrum analyzers, particularly when paired with interference and coverage mapping options. It allows field users to download road maps from MapQuest, part of the OpenStreetMap initiative, and translate them into a format compatible with Anritsu handheld instruments.

The translated maps support up to seven zoom levels, providing both broad regional coverage and detailed local resolution. Once loaded into the instrument, users can pan and zoom the maps in real time, enabling dynamic and accurate signal monitoring in the field.

The software is especially effective when used with the MA2700A InterferenceHunter, which integrates a GPS, compass, and preamplifier. The easyMap-enabled setup eliminates common mapping headaches, like magnetic deviation or vehicle-induced compass error, allowing for precise location tagging and signal tracking without additional mapping equipment.

Whether you're working on coverage analysis or interference identification in complex environments, easyMap makes the task simpler, more accurate, and highly portable.
