The SeaI/O-647U makes adding four serial ports simple in industrial and embedded environments. Built with VersaCom technology, each RJ45 port simultaneously supports RS-232 and 2-wire RS-485 signals. Users only need to configure external pinouts, eliminating service complexity.
Designed with performance in mind, the onboard state-machine architecture drastically reduces CPU load during multi-port communication.
Status LEDs are included on each port for real-time feedback, and the adapter supports a blazing data rate of up to 921.6K bps—ideal for high-speed industrial protocols.
Additionally, an RS-485 pass-through port allows I/O expansion using up to 246 SeaI/O N-series modules, unlocking added digital/analog capabilities. The entire system is housed in a rugged enclosure, perfect for wall, panel, or DIN-rail integration.
