The SeaI/O-681U-OEM provides reliable, high-performance USB to serial connectivity for industrial OEMs. Designed to fit directly into embedded system builds, this 8-port RS-232 board eliminates the need for external adapters while offering all the functionality of a full-size USB serial hub.
Its architecture offloads processing from the host, supporting smooth multi-port communication with minimal latency. All eight RJ45 ports include status LEDs for transmit/receive indicators, and power for connected peripherals is fused and routed via pin 5.
The RS-485 expansion connector allows for scalable I/O using Sealevel’s N-series OEM modules—ideal for expanding capabilities without redesigning the host system. The unit is RoHS compliant and includes a high-retention USB port for industrial-grade durability.
