This 4-port hub offers Charging Downstream Ports (CDPs) that comply with the BC1.2 USB Battery Charging Specification, allowing each port to supply up to 1.5A of current — ideal for charging tablets, mobile devices, or powering peripherals that require more than the 500mA offered by standard USB 2.0 ports.
This embeddable hub is perfect for industrial and embedded systems that demand reliable USB expansion, particularly in applications using Sealevel’s iPorthole™ Digital I/O modules. With a single internal USB host connection, you can connect up to four iPorthole modules using standard USB headers and cabling.
The +5V power cable included connects directly to a hard drive power source, and the internal USB host connection uses a 2mm 5-pin Molex vertical header. Internal USB cables are available depending on your motherboard’s header configuration — use CA469 for 0.1" headers and CA472 for 2mm headers.
