The HUB4SSBA-OEM is a rugged, embedded USB 3.1 Gen 1 SuperSpeed hub designed for high-performance USB connectivity in extreme industrial environments. Ideal for OEM integration, it allows up to four USB peripherals to be connected to a single host port with maximum reliability and minimal interference.

All four ports are configured as CDPs (Charging Downstream Ports) per BCv1.2 standards, supplying ample current for demanding USB peripherals. Port 4 provides up to 2.4A, and ports 1–3 supply 1500mA each, perfect for power-hungry barcode scanners, tablets, or storage devices.

With support for USB 3.1 SuperSpeed data rates up to 5 Gbps, the hub ensures fast and stable connections while maintaining full backward compatibility with older USB versions. The Multiple Transaction Translator (MTT) architecture ensures simultaneous high-throughput communication across mixed-speed USB devices.

The hub offers high ESD protection (15kV on USB 3.0 lines and 8kV on USB 2.0 lines), making it ideal for harsh electrical environments. Wide voltage input (9–30VDC) and comprehensive protection circuitry (reverse polarity, over/under voltage, and overcurrent) further increase reliability.

Each downstream port features a bi-color LED indicator:

  • Green – USB 3.1/3.0 detected

  • Yellow – USB 2.0/1.x detected
