Unlike passive hubs, the HUB7P ships with a wall-mount AC power adapter that provides 5VDC @ 4A, supplying 500mA of power to each port – enough to reliably power USB peripherals like barcode scanners, printers, and data acquisition modules. The locking DC connector ensures the power connection remains secure in mission-critical environments.
