The Sonic® 4000 RF is purpose-built for RF, spectrum, and network analysis applications that require high bandwidth, AC-coupled probing with low circuit loading. With a bandwidth from 220 Hz to >4 GHz, this probe is ideal for precision measurement tasks in automotive infotainment, antenna design, telecom, medical electronics, and advanced RF labs.
Unlike traditional grounded probes, the Sonic® 4000 RF features a 1 MΩ reference impedance to earth ground, providing safe browsing of energized circuits without risk of damaging sensitive components.
The high-impedance, low-capacitance design delivers minimal signal distortion while allowing high-frequency probing of small or sensitive circuits. The universal BNC output connects easily to 50 Ω input instruments including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
The included PS-04 plug-in power supply simplifies deployment without additional configuration or remote setup. For setups requiring flexibility, the 1.3 m probe cable is customizable on request.
