The SeaI/O-470U-OEM provides flexible I/O capabilities in an embedded-friendly format. It uses the Maxim MAX197 A/D converter to support 12-bit analog input with selectable voltage ranges: 0–5V, 0–10V, ±5V, and ±10V. Each digital input is optically isolated, enhancing noise immunity and protection. The digital outputs are open-collector type, suitable for switching relays or driving indicators.

The unit communicates via a USB interface and appears as a Modbus RTU slave device, making integration into automation systems straightforward. Configuration and communication are managed via SeaMAX software, which supports popular operating systems like Windows and Linux.
