The SeaISO ISO-1-OEM is designed for embedded USB isolation, offering a simple yet effective solution for protecting host and field equipment from transients, surges, and interference. This isolator provides 4 kV of medical-grade isolation, ensuring safe and stable operation between the USB host control system and connected equipment.
The DC/DC design allows energy transfer across the isolation barrier, maintaining performance while safeguarding sensitive components. It delivers up to 300 mA to downstream USB devices when connected to standard 500 mA USB ports, and up to 500 mA when connected to higher power USB ports (1 A or more). The isolator is USB 2.0 compatible, and requires no additional drivers for easy installation.
For OEM applications, the SeaISO ISO-1-OEM provides simple mounting with M2 x 4mm threaded standoffs and is easily integrated into custom systems. Its high-retention connectors ensure stable, reliable connections, and the device operates within a wide temperature range to suit a variety of industrial and field setups.
