The SeaLINK PIO-96 is an advanced USB digital I/O interface adapter designed to provide 96 channels of buffered TTL I/O for industrial automation and equipment control. It includes 12 groups of eight-bit I/O ports, each of which can be configured as inputs or outputs via simple control word programming. This enables users to customize the I/O combination according to their application needs.
With four 50-pin headers, the PIO-96 interfaces with industry-standard relay racks and terminal blocks, allowing seamless integration into control systems. It is ideal for applications such as sensor management, security systems, and automation of equipment.
As a legacy product, the PIO-96 will continue to receive technical and warranty support. However, for new projects, SeaI/O-463U is recommended due to its improved availability and comparable functionality. Additionally, the PIO-96 does not support USB 3.x systems and requires updated SeaIO drivers for proper operation.
