The SeaI/O-462E provides 96 channels of buffered TTL digital I/O, ideal for controlling sensors, switches, security systems, and other industrial automation devices. The module is equipped with dual DB78 female connectors, each capable of connecting to up to four industry-standard relay racks for flexible I/O control.
Each channel is grouped into 12 eight-bit ports, which are programmable as input or output. The module connects to host systems via Modbus TCP over 10/100BaseT Ethernet, making it easy to integrate into existing SCADA systems, PLCs, or custom applications using the SeaMAX API.
Powering the SeaI/O-462E is simple with a 9–30VDC input, compatible with most industrial power systems. The module’s compact enclosure design ensures durability in industrial settings and allows for panel or rack mounting.
For I/O expansion, the SeaI/O-462E can scale with up to 246 additional SeaI/O N-series modules, connected via pass-through connectors. Sealevel’s Modbus Connect iOS app provides a mobile solution for testing, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting during installation and field service.
