Built around the Maxim MAX197 A/D chip, the SeaI/O-470M provides precise analog signal handling with configurable input ranges including 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, ±10V, and optional 4-20mA current loops. The device also includes two 12-bit D/A channels that can be jumper-set for 0-5V or 0-10V outputs.
Its eight optically isolated digital inputs withstand 5–30VDC and offer 300V isolation for industrial-grade protection. Eight open-collector outputs are capable of sinking 580mA, making the unit ideal for controlling 24VDC loads like actuators and relays.
Installation is streamlined with removable screw terminals, and communication is seamless through RS-485 using either standard Modbus RTU protocol or Sealevel’s own SeaMAX software libraries. The SeaI/O-470M operates reliably in industrial environments and integrates easily into larger systems via its expansion-ready design.
