The SeaI/O-520E is an advanced Ethernet-based I/O module designed for controlling high-current devices. It provides 8 optically isolated inputs, each rated for 5-30VDC, with 300V external isolation to protect sensitive equipment from electrical noise and transients. These inputs are perfect for use in industrial environments where voltage fluctuations are common.
In addition, the module features 8 high-current Form C relays, capable of switching 6A loads at 250VAC and 5A at 30VDC, making it suitable for controlling large industrial devices, such as motors, valves, and actuators. The relays can be configured as normally open or normally closed, depending on your control needs.
Communication with the SeaI/O-520E is achieved via Modbus TCP over Ethernet, allowing for easy remote control and monitoring from any networked device. The module is powered by 9–30VDC, and it includes removable screw terminals for easy field wiring.
For easier system expansion, the SeaI/O-520E supports up to 246 additional SeaI/O N-series modules, giving you the flexibility to scale your I/O network. For mobile access, Sealevel Modbus Connect for iOS lets you remotely monitor and troubleshoot the system in the field.
