The SeaI/O-540E is an advanced Ethernet I/O module designed to provide 32 open-collector outputs for high-current sinking, ideal for controlling devices such as DC motors in industrial environments. Each open-collector output is equipped with a flyback diode to protect against voltage spikes when switching inductive loads.
The module communicates over Modbus TCP via Ethernet, allowing for easy integration into remote control and monitoring systems. It is powered by a 9–30VDC source and features removable screw terminals, making field installation and wiring straightforward.
For easy monitoring and diagnostics, the Sealevel Modbus Connect app for iOS enables remote access to the registers and coils of the module. Additionally, the module supports expansion, allowing up to 246 additional SeaI/O N-series modules to be added, providing significant flexibility for large-scale industrial systems.
