The SeaI/O-540M-OEM is a high-performance RS-485 Modbus RTU interface module providing 32 open-collector outputs. Built for OEM integration, it delivers robust performance in compact form. Each output supports high-current sinking and includes a flyback diode to safely manage inductive loads such as motors, relays, and solenoids.
The outputs are arranged into four 8-bit groups, each with shared voltage terminals through 3.5mm removable screw terminal blocks, simplifying field wiring and installation. The module operates on a wide 9–30VDC power supply, making it versatile for various industrial environments.
Users can interface with the 540M-OEM using either Modbus RTU commands or Sealevel’s SeaMAX software library, supporting seamless configuration on Windows and Linux systems. With scalability in mind, the module supports the addition of up to 246 SeaI/O N-series expansion units.
