The SeaI/O-540M is a powerful RS-485 Modbus RTU module engineered for industrial-grade control of devices via 32 open-collector outputs. These outputs support high current sinking across a wide voltage range, ideal for driving relays, lamps, motors, and other control devices.
Each output port is protected by a built-in flyback diode, ensuring safe operation even when connected to inductive loads such as solenoids and DC motors. The outputs are organized into four 8-bit groups, each with shared high and low voltage contacts for simplified field wiring using 3.5mm terminal blocks.
The device is powered via a 9–30VDC supply and integrates seamlessly with any Modbus RTU master or via Sealevel’s SeaMAX API software on Windows and Linux platforms. This makes setup, configuration, and ongoing operations simple and efficient.
Additionally, the SeaI/O-540M can be expanded with up to 246 SeaI/O N-series modules, providing unmatched flexibility for growing I/O demands in automation, manufacturing, and control environments.
