The 5402 ACB-MP+4.PCI is a high-performance synchronous serial interface card with four individually configurable ports, designed for robust data communications in mission-critical environments like military systems, satellite communications, radar, and financial infrastructure.
Each of the four ports supports RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485, offering superior flexibility. Integrated Digital Phase Lock Loops (DPLL) per port ensure stable and synchronized transmission. The adapter operates at speeds up to 128 Kbps in burst mode, driven by the reliable Zilog Z85230 ESCC chip.
Sealevel’s SeaMAC driver enables smooth deployment of synchronous protocols, such as HDLC, SDLC, Monosync, Bi-sync, and Raw mode, making the card ideal for legacy and custom communication stacks. This adapter features Universal PCI Bus support for compatibility with both modern and legacy systems.
Included is a fan-out cable that converts the 100-pin onboard connector to four DB25M connectors, simplifying installation. Additional terminal blocks and cabling options are available separately for specialized integrations.
