The 5402e ACB-MP+4.PCIe is a high-performance, 4-port synchronous serial interface, built for robust communication in critical applications like military, satellite communications, radar, and banking systems. Each port is individually configurable for various serial standards including RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, RS-530, RS-530A, and V.35, allowing for maximum flexibility. The Zilog Z85230 ESCC provides reliable high-speed communication with support for burst data rates up to 128K bps. The digital phase lock loop (DPLL) ensures synchronization across the ports, while modem control signals are implemented for compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. A fan-out cable is included, which terminates the 100-pin SCSI-style connector to four DB-25M connectors, simplifying installation. The SeaMAC driver enables seamless integration with HDLC/SDLC protocols, as well as Monosync, Bi-sync, and Raw modes.
