The HT-4200 is a non-contact tachometer that measures rotational speed by detecting reflected light from a target with a reflective mark applied. This method ensures accurate readings without physical contact, preventing wear or potential damage to both the tachometer and the target.

It can measure very low speeds when multiple reflective marks are used, while still supporting high-speed applications up to 50,000 r/min with a single mark. The device’s internal memory allows storage of up to 10 readings, and the auto-hold function keeps the most recent result on display for convenient recording.

Designed for portability, the HT-4200 is lightweight and compact enough to fit in a pocket. Its bright LCD display ensures clear visibility, and built-in error and low battery indicators help maintain consistent operation in any work environment.

  • Wide RPM Range – Measures from 4 r/min with multiple reflective marks to 50,000 r/min with a single mark.

  • Non-Contact Detection – Uses visible light reflection for safe, accurate RPM measurement without touching the target.

  • Long Detection Distance – Operates effectively between 20 and 300 mm from the surface.

  • High-Visibility Display – Large 5-digit LCD with 10.5 mm characters for easy reading.

  • Built-In Memory – Stores up to 10 readings for later review.

  • Data Hold Function – Retains the last measurement for about 30 seconds after recording.

  • Error & Battery Alerts – Displays error messages when out of range and alerts for low battery.

  • Pocket-Friendly and Durable – Compact, lightweight design with robust build quality.
