The MP-981 works by detecting changes in magnetic flux caused by rotating gears, converting them into a rectangular waveform signal. Its magneto-resistive sensing elements, permanent magnet, built-in amplifier, and voltage regulator ensure stable and accurate signal generation.

This detector is highly versatile, capable of measuring speeds from near standstill to 20,000 r/min when used with a 60-tooth gear. It delivers reliable operation in harsh environments, with a wide temperature tolerance and resistance to vibration and shock. Built-in short-circuit and reverse polarity protection enhance operational safety.

Its compact size allows for easy installation, making it suitable for field measurements, industrial machinery monitoring, and laboratory testing.

  • Wide Detection Range – Measures from ultra-low speeds (around 1 Hz) to 20,000 r/min with a 60-tooth gear.

  • Non-Contact Measurement – Detects gear rotation without physical contact, minimizing wear and maintenance.

  • Self-Powered Signal Output – Generates frequency output without an external power source for the signal itself.

  • Rugged and Compact Design – Lightweight, durable housing suitable for challenging environments.

  • Multiple Variants Available – Offered in oil-proof, heat-resistant, compact, and extended-length models for different applications.
