The VP-201 uses electro-dynamic vibration sensing to detect rotational speed by capturing mechanical vibrations from piston movement. Its built-in magnet enables fast attachment to metallic engine parts, eliminating the need for extra fixtures. Designed to operate in demanding environments, it features a heat-resistant body and a 2.9-meter signal cable for flexible positioning.

The detector supports a measurement range of 500 to 10,000 r/min (16–333 Hz) and integrates easily with various tachometers. This makes it ideal for quick, accurate RPM checks in engine testing, diagnostics, and maintenance applications.
