The HT-5500 is designed for maximum flexibility across various testing environments. In non-contact mode, it uses a reflective sensor positioned close to the rotating object. For contact mode, a specialized adapter is attached. It handles real-time RPM and line speed monitoring, including cumulative counts and cycle timing.

Its memory functionality allows storing and recalling up to 20 measurements—a valuable feature for comparative testing or batch monitoring. Customizable analog outputs and pulse outputs make it easy to link with data recorders or analysis equipment. The display is optimized for clarity, with built-in alarms to handle out-of-range values and low battery states. The option to mount it on a tripod enhances stability for precision measurement.

  • Dual Measurement Modes – Seamlessly switch between contact and non-contact RPM measurement within one device.

  • Extensive Measurement Range – Capable of handle extremely slow to ultra-high speeds, from 6 r/min up to 99,999 r/min.

  • Multiple Measurement Types – Supports RPM, rotations per second, line speed, cycle duration, and cumulative pulse count.

  • Line Speed Calculation – Calculates surface linear speed when configured with a known diameter and appropriate accessory.

  • Peak Hold & Memory – Captures maximum, minimum, and current values; stores up to 20 sets of data.

  • Analog & Pulse Outputs – Integrates with recording and analysis systems via customizable analog output and standard pulse signal.

  • Large Backlit Display – Offers high visibility with a 5-digit LED display and backlight for low-light environments.

  • Tripod Compatibility – Can be mounted for stationary or high-precision testing setups.

  • Auto Power & Alerts – Includes low battery alert, over-range error indicator, and upper-limit alarm for safety and reliability.
