The SE-2500A is tailored for efficient, non-invasive RPM measurement of gasoline engines. By positioning its built-in induction sensor close to the ignition coil, it captures rotational data without physical contact. Resolution as fine as 0.01 r/s ensures high-precision readings.

Memory storage allows up to 20 data points to be saved for later comparison, and the display remains clear even in dimly lit environments thanks to a large backlit LCD. The analog output can be switched to monitor mode for signal waveform inspection, while the pulse output provides synchronization pulses for FFT analyzers or data loggers.

For remote measurement, an optional external sensor enables readings from distances up to 1 meter. The device suits a range of engine types—2-cycle and 4-cycle gasoline models, including configurations from 1 to 12 cylinders. Optional tripod mounting ensures consistent positioning during prolonged measurements, and built-in alarms improve reliability and user safety.
