The DC2 option enables DC-coupled analog output for IQ baseband applications on models in the P9484x series. It allows generation of signals from 0 Hz up to the full analog bandwidth, supporting applications that require highly stable low-frequency or static waveform components..
With DC2, the P9484x modules support output of baseband signals that include DC components, which are blocked in standard AC-coupled outputs. This is especially useful for quantum research, radar baseband testing, and optical modulation experiments where precision control of signal offset and baseline level is critical. The option enables smooth ramps, slow pulses, and other low-frequency structures without distortion or baseline drift.
